HFIS offers unique brands spread across our two sectors.
We operate another UK Government scheme, an impartial service that deals with consumer complaints about a variety of property related issues. We deal with over 1,800 complaints and is the largest redress company for letting agents in the UK.
Our Customer Service Team provide support and process membership applications, while our Resolution Team act as a first point of contact for complaints.
Any cases that can’t be resolved at this stage are assigned to our case officers who produce final decisions, much like our Adjudicators in mydeposits.
We run one of three UK government schemes dedicated to providing landlords and tenants with tenancy deposit protection services. We have more than 150,000 members and are protecting more than 1.1 million deposits across the UK and Channel Islands.
Our customer service advisors work in a multi-contact centre environment, providing support and guidance to our members. Our services also include helping to resolve disputes between landlords and tenants, and so we have a large team of disputes case handlers and adjudicators.

Our Paralegals provide administrative support, answering client queries and preparing legal documents for our Case Workers and Solicitors who manage cases that come through from inception to court.

Our Membership Officers manager a portfolio of agents, processing new and renewal membership applications.
